April 30 Last day to pay or name will be in publication
of delinquent taxes in the Ocala Gazette.
May 2 Practice
and Live Tax Sale sites open on the
Internet.
Tax
sale registration and bidding open on the Internet.

10 First publication of delinquent taxes in the Ocala Gazette.
May
17 Second publication of delinquent taxes in the Ocala
Gazette.
May
24 Third and final publication of delinquent taxes in the Ocala Gazette.
May 27 Tax Offices Are
Closed Memorial Day.
May
30 The
submission of mass bid files must be completed by 5:00 p.m. EDT.
May
31 In preparation for the
tax certificate sale, the Internet payment module will be deactivated for 2023
tax payments at 7:00 p.m.
June 1 Lots 1 through 4 are awarded every two
hours beginning with Lot 1 at 8:00 a.m. EDT.
June 2 Lots 5 through 8 are awarded every two hours beginning with
Lot 5 at 8:00 a.m. EDT.
Notification
to bidders of balance due sent via e-mail or may be viewed online once the last
batch is awarded.
June 4 ACH Payment must be submitted/authorized by 4:00 p.m. EDT No
exceptions.
June
4 6:00 p.m. EDT If warranted, re-bid items will be combined
into a final lot (Lot 9) and made available to buyers for auction.
June 5 Lot 9 (Re-Bid items) will be awarded at 4:00 p.m. EDT.
June
6 ACH
Payment for Lot 9 must be submitted/authorized by 4:00 p.m. EDT No exceptions.
June 12 Online county purchase activated at 8:00 a.m. A downloadable spreadsheet with the offered items
will also be available on the website.
June 17 Refunds for
overpayments from tax sale are returned via ACH. You will be notified by
e-mail
when your refund has been issued.
